While doing so, have a look for any deterioration of caulking around your windows or other signs of water ingress.

Inspect and Clean Your Exterior

Need a paint job? Winter weather can take a toll. Inspect your home’s exterior for any signs of damage, such as cracks in the siding, peeling paint, or damaged trim. Repair or replace any damaged areas to prevent further deterioration. Clean the exterior of your home by power washing the siding, decks, and driveways to remove dirt, grime, and mold. Paint areas that need repainting. Paint is there to protect your siding and trim. Keeping your home looking prim and proper not only enhances the curb appeal of your home but also protects it from potential damage caused by harsh weather conditions. Take care of your investment!

Check Your Irrigation System

If you have one, it’s that time to fire it up again. Inspect each zone and ensure none of your heads have been damaged over the winter. Adjust the settings on your irrigation timer as needed to ensure that your lawn and garden receive the appropriate amount of water. This will help promote healthy growth and prevent water waste. (Not that anything really needs any water right now…)
